There's a lot of things that can cause a plush price to rise, and are exceptions to every general guide, which is why I don't have a 'Do-It-Yourself' quote sheet. I prefer to give all quotes myself, so I can ensure you're getting the most accurate price. But, generally speaking, what causes plush prices to go up, and what helps keep the cost down?
There are numerous things, and the more your character has, the more the price will go up. Some of the most common designs are:
-Stripes
-Spots
-Many colors (4-5+)
-Hair
-Markings by/under eyes
-Different color snout
-Freckles
-Tattoos
-Some ear piercings (like industrial bars)
-Body piercings
-Additional eyes, tails, heads, or limbs
-Missing limbs
-Plush size changes (larger or smaller)
-Different color paws or legs
-Ombres
-Wings (especially open)
-Species I don't already offer
-Use of faux fur
-Accessories
-Removable parts
Here are some of the most common things that help keep the cost of your plush down:
-Few colors (1-3 or 4)
-No ombre
-No spots or stripes
-Missing/no tail
There are some things that don't typically affect the cost of your plush at all, such as:
-Different color belly going from chest to rump
-Unicorn horn
-Non-matching eye colors
-Different color nose
-Different color on the bottom of the feet
-Magnet in belly (small flops only)
-Different color ears
-Silver stud or hoop earrings
Hopefully this helps you get a better idea of what your plush will cost. If you want an exact quote, please message me on Instagram @cloverpigeon.studios or email at cloversplushies@gmail.com.
